This 146GB 2.5 inch hard drive spins at 15,000 rpm on a SAS-2 6Gb/s interface with a 64MB cache, and it carries HPE's numbering: part number 627114-001, spare number 9SV066-035 and model EH0146FBQDC. It is the small, fast drive that ProLiant servers of the G7 and Gen8 era used for operating system volumes and databases, where access time mattered more than capacity. It is refurbished and sold as a bare drive. In another vendor's server, use that server's caddy and expect the drive to be accepted as a generic 6Gb/s SAS drive.
