This is the parent range for the hardware that carries traffic through a business network. It spans Cisco Catalyst access switches with PoE+, Cisco ISR routers and their voice modules, Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto next generation firewalls, HPE and Dell server network adapters, Cisco IP phones, and Dahua IP cameras and network video recorders.

It is for IT teams and system integrators in Qatar building or extending office networks, branch sites and server rooms. Stock is held in Doha, and the range mixes new and refurbished units, with every refurbished unit tested before it is listed.

Planning a network refresh

Start at the edge. Count the ports each location needs and leave room for growth. Add up the PoE draw of phones, cameras and access points, because a switch shares one power budget across all its ports. Decide the uplink speed between access switches and the core, and whether the router or firewall must also handle VPNs or voice. Where a design mixes vendors, confirm that optics and cabling are supported at both ends of every link.
