It is a 2.5 inch 7mm SATA 6Gb/s drive built on Samsung V-NAND TLC flash and rated at 1.3 drive writes per day over three years, which places it in the read intensive class. When replacing spinning disks, build a separate SSD virtual disk or replace every member of the array with SSDs. A replacement for a failed array member should be the same capacity or larger.
