This is a refurbished Dell Precision T5820, SKU WS-DELL-T5820-BARE, supplied as a barebone tower workstation with no CPU, no RAM and no storage fitted. The Precision T5820 is the single-socket tower in Dell's Precision 5000 range, introduced in 2017 and built around the LGA2066 socket. It takes one Intel Xeon W or Core X Series processor, DDR4 memory in ECC or non-ECC form, PCIe 3.0 add-in cards, and NVMe or SATA drives. Buyers in Qatar usually choose this barebone for one of two reasons: they already hold compatible LGA2066 processors, DDR4 modules and drives from retired machines, or they want to specify each component for a CAD, rendering or engineering workload rather than accept a fixed build. Do not mix ECC and non-ECC modules in one system, and keep all modules the same capacity and speed for stable quad-channel operation. Storage can be NVMe or SATA, so drives taken from earlier workstations can usually be reused, and PCIe 3.0 cards fit the expansion slots, with PCIe 4.0 cards running at PCIe 3.0 speed.
