This Precision T7820 is a part-built workstation rather than an empty chassis. Dell's dual socket LGA3647 tower comes here with 32GB of DDR4 2666MHz ECC RDIMM memory, an Intel DC 480GB SATA 2.5 inch enterprise SSD and an NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 8GB GDDR6 graphics card already installed. Sold as a barebone, it leaves the processors for you to add, so the core count and clock speed can match the software. The Quadro RTX 4000 is a single slot professional card certified for CAD, visualisation and video applications, and pairing it with ECC memory and an enterprise SSD gives a workstation ready for engineering or design work in Qatar as soon as the processors are fitted. Buyers who already hold Xeon Scalable processors, or who want to choose them for a specific licence or thread count, get a refurbished workstation from ServerDove's Doha stock with three of the four major decisions made.

Chassis and platform
The T7820 is Dell's dual processor Xeon Scalable workstation with 12 DIMM slots and PCIe 3.0 expansion. In this unit four of those slots hold memory, one x16 slot holds the graphics card, and one drive tray holds the SSD.
What you need to add
With memory, storage and graphics in place, the remaining choice is the processor. A single Xeon Scalable processor activates six of the DIMM slots and one x16 slot; the second processor activates the rest.
- One or two Intel Xeon Scalable processors for LGA3647, with Precision T7820 heatsink and fan modules
- Further DDR4 ECC Registered DIMMs if 32GB is not enough, matching the 2666MHz speed of the fitted modules
- Additional NVMe or SATA storage if the 480GB SSD is to hold only the operating system
- An operating system licence
The fitted memory runs at 2666MHz, so second generation Xeon Scalable processors will run it at that speed rather than their 2933MHz maximum unless the memory is replaced.

What does refurbished mean at ServerDove?
Off-lease or decommissioned enterprise hardware that we clean, test and reset in Doha. Every unit goes through POST, burn-in, memory and drive checks and a power-supply check, with firmware and BIOS returned to defaults and drives securely erased.
Can I ask about the exact unit before I buy?

How fast is delivery in Qatar?
Orders ship from Doha and arrive within one working day anywhere in Qatar. Delivery is free on orders over QAR 300.
