HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen9 8SFF barebone, a 1U dual-socket rack server chassis for building your own Xeon E5-2600 v3 or v4 system.
This is a refurbished HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen9 in the 8SFF configuration, sold as a barebone under our SKU SRV-HP-DL360-G9-8SFF-BARE. The DL360 Gen9 is HPE's 1U, two-socket rack server from the Gen9 generation introduced in 2014. It takes Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3 and v4 processors in LGA2011-3 sockets, DDR4 ECC Registered memory, and up to eight 2.5 inch SFF SAS, SATA or SSD drives at the front. Management is through the integrated iLO4 controller. No processors, memory or drives are fitted. It suits IT teams in Doha and across Qatar who already hold Gen9 parts, want to standardise on one platform, or need a spare chassis to replace a damaged unit. You choose the processors, memory and storage to match the workload.

The DL360 Gen9 is a dual-socket platform: memory slots, PCIe slots and some features depend on how many processors are fitted. The 8SFF front is the standard small form factor layout for this chassis.
What you need to add
The chassis arrives with no CPU, no RAM and no drives. Plan the build as a complete set before ordering parts, since processor count decides how many memory slots and PCIe slots are usable.
- One or two Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3 or v4 processors with matching heatsinks. In a two-processor build both must be the same model.
- DDR4 ECC Registered or Load Reduced memory, populated evenly across the channels of each installed processor.
- SAS, SATA or SSD drives in 2.5 inch HPE SmartDrive carriers, one per populated bay.
- An HPE Smart Array controller if you need hardware RAID or SAS drives.
- HPE Flex Slot power supplies (two for redundancy) and rack rails if the chassis is going into a cabinet.
Compatibility

Do not mix RDIMM and LRDIMM in the same server, and do not mix v3 and v4 processors. Unbuffered DDR4 is not supported. Xeon E5-2600 v4 processors need a current system ROM, so update the firmware before fitting them if the board has been running v3 parts. Both power supplies in a redundant pair must be the same wattage.

What does refurbished mean at ServerDove?
Off-lease or decommissioned enterprise hardware that we clean, test and reset in Doha. Every unit goes through POST, burn-in, memory and drive checks and a power-supply check, with firmware and BIOS returned to defaults and drives securely erased.
Can I ask about the exact unit before I buy?
Yes. Message us the SKU on WhatsApp and we will confirm the condition and configuration of the unit in stock, with photos if you want them.
How fast is delivery in Qatar?
Orders ship from Doha and arrive within one working day anywhere in Qatar. Delivery is free on orders over QAR 300.
Can I collect in person?
Yes, from Nuaija Office 7, Doha, usually within 24 hours of ordering. Choose pick-up at checkout and we will message you when it is ready.
What warranty is included?
