HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 8SFF rack server barebone, a refurbished 2U chassis for dual Intel Xeon Scalable processors with iLO 5 management.
The ProLiant DL380 Gen10 is HPE's tenth generation 2U rack server, built for first and second generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors in LGA3647 sockets. This eight bay chassis has 8 x 2.5 inch SFF hot-plug bays in one front cage, 24 DIMM slots for DDR4 ECC Registered memory, PCIe 3.0 risers with room for up to eight slots, and integrated iLO 5. It is supplied with no CPU, no RAM and no drives. It is the current generation most buyers in Qatar move to when retiring Gen8 and Gen9 estates: same 2U serviceability, but with Xeon Scalable core counts, 2933 MT/s memory on second generation processors and the security features of iLO 5. As a refurbished barebone from ServerDove's Doha stock, it lets the compute be sized to the job instead of to a factory bundle.

Gen10 moved ProLiant from the previous Xeon E5 family to Xeon Scalable and from iLO 4 to iLO 5. The DL380 Gen10 keeps the modular front cages of its predecessors, so the 8SFF unit below can be extended to 16 or 24 SFF bays with additional cages and backplanes.
What you need to add
Gen10 parts differ from Gen9 in every category except drive carriers, so treat this as a fresh platform when ordering. The processor choice sets the memory speed and the heatsink type.
- One or two Intel Xeon Scalable processors for the LGA3647 socket, with Gen10 standard or high performance heatsinks to suit the wattage
- DDR4 ECC Registered DIMMs, six per processor to fill all six memory channels
- 2.5 inch SAS, SATA or SSD drives in HPE SmartDrive hot-plug carriers
- A Smart Array controller in the modular slot or a PCIe slot, or an HBA for software defined storage
- Flex Slot power supplies, two of the same rating for redundancy
- Network adapters, either FlexibleLOM or standard PCIe cards
Second generation Xeon Scalable processors need Gen10 system firmware from 2019 or later. Fill memory one DIMM per channel across both processors before doubling up any channel.
Compatibility
Processors, memory, carriers and Flex Slot power supplies are shared across the Gen10 rack and tower range, so this server pairs well with the 1U and tower Gen10 servers on the same site.

What does refurbished mean at ServerDove?
Off-lease or decommissioned enterprise hardware that we clean, test and reset in Doha. Every unit goes through POST, burn-in, memory and drive checks and a power-supply check, with firmware and BIOS returned to defaults and drives securely erased.
Can I ask about the exact unit before I buy?
Yes. Message us the SKU on WhatsApp and we will confirm the condition and configuration of the unit in stock, with photos if you want them.
How fast is delivery in Qatar?
Orders ship from Doha and arrive within one working day anywhere in Qatar. Delivery is free on orders over QAR 300.
Can I collect in person?
Yes, from Nuaija Office 7, Doha, usually within 24 hours of ordering. Choose pick-up at checkout and we will message you when it is ready.
What warranty is included?
