HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen9 and Gen10 rack rail kit, the OEM sliding rails, left and right, for a standard 19 inch rack.
This is HPE's sliding rail kit for the ProLiant DL380 Gen9 and DL380 Gen10, the pair of left and right rails that let the 2U server slide out of the rack for service without being unracked. Refurbished servers often arrive without rails, and the DL380 cannot sit in a rack safely without them; this OEM kit is the correct part for both generations. It is refurbished and includes both rails. HPE's rails are tool-less at the rack end: spring loaded pins engage the square holes of a standard 19 inch rack, and the inner rails attach to the server's sides with its own studs. The kit fits racks from about 61 to 91 centimetres deep. Sliding rails allow the server to be pulled fully forward for lid access, which is how memory, processors and risers are serviced in place.

Buyers of ServerDove's DL380 Gen9 and Gen10 barebones and assembled servers can order this kit with the chassis so the server is rack ready on arrival. The cable management arm that HPE offers for the DL380 attaches to these rails and is a separate part.
Installation
Separate the inner rail from each outer rail, fit the inner rails to the server's sides on their studs, and mount the outer rails in the rack by pressing their pins into the front and rear posts at the same height. With two people, lift the server so the inner rails enter the outer rails and push it back until it locks. Pull it forward once to confirm the slides run freely and the stops engage.

What does refurbished mean at ServerDove?
Off-lease or decommissioned enterprise hardware that we clean, test and reset in Doha. Every unit goes through POST, burn-in, memory and drive checks and a power-supply check, with firmware and BIOS returned to defaults and drives securely erased.
