This is a refurbished HPE StoreEasy 1650, HPE's 2U rack storage server built on its ProLiant platform for file services and backup targets. This build is the 12LFF chassis, with 12 front bays for 3.5 inch drives. It ships with 48GB of DDR4 ECC RDIMM memory, an HPE Smart Array P440ar RAID controller protected by an HPE MC96 96W Smart Storage Cache Battery, two Intel DC S3520 150GB enterprise SSDs and two HPE SFF drive caddies. Two HPE 800W Platinum Flex Slot power supplies give 1+1 redundancy. Buyers in Qatar choose the StoreEasy 1650 when they need a central file server, a backup repository or shared storage for a small virtualisation cluster, and want enterprise RAID and redundant power already fitted. Every unit is prepared at our Doha site before dispatch.
STO-HP-SE1650-48GB-P440ARWill it fit my system?
Memory upgrades must be DDR4 registered ECC DIMMs; do not mix RDIMMs with LRDIMMs in the same server. Front drives need HPE LFF SmartDrive carriers, and 2.5 inch drives fit the supplied SFF caddies. Replacement power supplies must be HPE Flex Slot units, and both supplies in a pair should match in wattage and efficiency grade. Keep the MC96 battery connected so the P440ar can use its write cache.
