This Intel DC series 300GB SSD is an enterprise solid state drive on a SATA 6Gb/s interface in the 2.5 inch small form factor, built for servers and workstations and supporting hot-plug in server bays. Intel's DC drives carry the features that separate enterprise flash from consumer parts: power loss protection capacitors, consistent performance under sustained load, and end-to-end data integrity checking. Three hundred gigabytes is the capacity for operating systems, hypervisors and small databases rather than bulk data. It is refurbished and sold as a bare drive. Buyers in Qatar use it as a mirrored boot pair in a refurbished server, a hypervisor volume, or a fast system drive in a workstation, and ServerDove keeps it in Doha stock for those builds.

An enterprise SATA SSD reads at around 500 megabytes per second and, more importantly, keeps its write performance steady when the drive is full and busy, which consumer drives do not. In a workstation, connect a SATA data and power cable and mount it in a 2.5 inch bracket. Align partitions to 4K boundaries, which current operating systems do automatically, and enable the controller's SSD settings where offered.
