The Xeon E5-2630 v4 is the ten core successor to the most widely fitted v3 processor, and like it, a mainstream part of Intel's E5 v4 family for the LGA2011-3 socket. Ten cores and 20 threads at a 2.20GHz base and 3.10GHz turbo, 25MB of cache and an 85W rating, with DDR4-2133 memory support and PCIe 3.0, make it the efficient mid-range processor of 13th generation Dell and HPE Gen9 servers. Re-paste, seat the processor with the notches aligned, close the socket levers and tighten the heatsink evenly. In a dual socket server fit two identical 2630 v4 processors and populate memory in matched sets on both sides.
