The Xeon E5-2667 v2 is the high frequency eight core of Intel's E5 v2 family, the Ivy Bridge generation for the LGA2011 socket with DDR3-1866 memory. A 3.30GHz base and a 4.00GHz turbo, the highest of any Xeon of its era, with 25MB of cache and a 130W rating make it the processor that DDR3 era workstations and databases were upgraded to. It supports PCIe 3.0 and four memory channels. Use two identical 2667 v2 processors in a dual socket system, and DDR3 ECC Registered memory rated 1866 MT/s to get the full memory speed the processor supports.
