Intel Xeon Silver 4112, a 4 core, 8 thread LGA3647 processor at 2.60GHz with 3.00GHz turbo and an 85W rating, refurbished.
The Xeon Silver 4112 is the smallest processor of Intel's first generation Xeon Scalable family that still carries the full platform: four cores and eight threads at a 2.60GHz base and 3.00GHz turbo, 8.25MB of cache, six channels of DDR4-2400 memory and 48 PCIe 3.0 lanes, at an 85W rating. It fits the LGA3647 socket of 14th generation Dell and Gen10 HPE servers. Buyers in Qatar use the refurbished 4112 in two ways: as the sole processor of a small server that needs the platform's memory slots and PCIe lanes more than its compute, such as a backup or storage server, and as the second processor of a single socket server purely to unlock the other half of the DIMM slots. The clock is higher than the eight core Silver parts, which makes the 4112 quicker on lightly threaded tasks despite its four cores; the trade is a lower core count and a smaller cache.

Installation
No firmware update is needed on a first generation server. Fit the processor in its carrier onto the standard heatsink, which is sufficient at 85W, and fasten to the socket in the marked order. When it is added as a second processor to unlock memory slots, note that the two processors must be identical, so the existing one must also be a 4112; otherwise fit a matching pair of whichever model is already installed.
