This Micron 4GB DDR4 ECC Registered DIMM at 2400MT/s is the module ServerDove uses to populate memory channels on its own assembled servers, six or eight at a time, and it is offered here for the same purpose. Four gigabytes per module is small, but a module in every channel is what a memory controller needs to run at full bandwidth, and four of these give an Intel Xeon E5 v4 processor its complete set for 16GB. It is a 288 pin RDIMM to the PC4-2400T specification, for Dell PowerEdge and HPE ProLiant servers. Buyers in Qatar use the refurbished 4GB module to complete a channel set cheaply, to match the modules in a ServerDove built machine, and for lab or lightly loaded servers where capacity is not the concern.

Installation
Switch the server off and unplug it. Fit modules one per channel across both processors first, in the order the board marks, and keep the counts equal per socket. Press the module in until both retaining clips close. Confirm the total and the 2400MT/s speed in the BIOS after boot. When a server built with these modules needs more memory, replace the whole set with larger modules rather than mixing capacities within a channel.
