IP cameras and network video recorders for offices, shops and warehouses, including Dahua dome cameras and 4K NVRs, held in Doha and delivered across Qatar. Plan by camera count, resolution and days of recording.
This range covers IP CCTV hardware: Dahua IP cameras, such as IR dome models, and Dahua network video recorders (NVRs) with 4K output. IP cameras send video over the network to an NVR, which records it to hard drives and lets you view and play it back locally or remotely.
It suits offices, shops, warehouses and villas adding or upgrading CCTV, and IT teams and integrators who want camera footage on the same structured cabling as the rest of the network.
Dome cameras suit ceilings and indoor or sheltered spots, and are harder to knock out of position. IR illumination lets a camera record in darkness, in black and white. Recorders store footage on internal SATA hard drives. Check whether drives are included with the NVR you choose; if not, drives rated for continuous surveillance recording are the right fit, and 3.5-inch hard drives can be sourced alongside.
Cameras and NVRs from the same brand give the fullest feature set. ONVIF allows mixing brands for basic video, but advanced features may not carry across. Ask the team to confirm before mixing.
Items ship from Doha stock, typically delivered across Qatar in one day, and are covered by the ServerDove warranty. For other cameras, larger recorders or a full parts list for a site, send the camera count and layout by WhatsApp +974 5521 2108, email sales@serverdove.com or the contact page.
An NVR (network video recorder) records IP cameras that send digital video over the network. A DVR records analogue cameras connected by coaxial cable. IP systems generally offer higher resolution, use standard network cabling and can take power over the same cable through PoE. The recorders in this range are NVRs for IP cameras.
Each NVR has a stated channel count, which is the maximum number of IP cameras it can record, and a maximum incoming bandwidth. Both limits matter: high-resolution cameras use more bandwidth, so a recorder can reach its bandwidth limit before its channel limit. Check both in the recorder's specification and leave room to add cameras later.
It depends on the number of cameras, their resolution, the compression used, whether they record continuously or on motion, and how many days you must keep. Dahua and other manufacturers publish storage calculators that estimate this. Send the team your camera count and retention period and they can help size the drives for the recorder.
Most IP cameras can take power over the network cable using PoE, so one cable carries power and video. That power comes from a PoE switch, a PoE injector, or an NVR with built-in PoE ports. If the recorder has no PoE ports, use a PoE switch with enough total power budget for all the cameras.
Often, for basic live view and recording, through the ONVIF standard. Advanced features such as smart detection, event types and some configuration options may only work between a camera and recorder from the same brand. ServerDove does not assume compatibility, so send the models you want to combine and the team will confirm before you order.
