Dahua NVR4232-4KS2/L 32 channel network video recorder with 4K output, H.265 and H.264 recording, HDMI and VGA and ONVIF support, supplied new.
The NVR4232-4KS2/L is a 32 channel network video recorder from Dahua's Lite series, the recorder at the centre of an IP camera installation. It records up to 32 IP cameras using H.265 or H.264 compression, displays live and recorded video at up to 4K over HDMI with a VGA output alongside, holds its recordings on internal SATA hard drives in multiple bays, and works with ONVIF cameras from other manufacturers as well as Dahua's own. Remote viewing from phones and PCs is supported. Unlike most of ServerDove's stock this unit is supplied new rather than refurbished, from Doha stock. Businesses in Qatar pair it with Dahua or ONVIF cameras for offices, warehouses, shops and compounds where 32 channels cover the site with room to spare.
NVR-DAHUA-4232-4KS2L-NEWSpecification
H.265 recording roughly halves the storage a camera needs compared with H.264 at the same quality, which matters at 32 channels. Size the hard drives for the retention period required, and use surveillance rated drives, which are built for continuous writing.
Cameras connect over the site network and a PoE switch rather than directly to this recorder, which has no built in PoE ports, so plan a PoE switch with enough ports and power budget for the camera count.
Thirty two channels is the licence free camera limit of this recorder, but the incoming bandwidth is finite: at 2 megapixels per camera all 32 channels fit comfortably, while a set of 4K cameras will reach the recorder's limit before the channel count does. Check the total bitrate of the planned cameras against the recorder's incoming bandwidth figure.
Installation
Fit the hard drives before first power on, connect a monitor to HDMI for the initial setup, and give the recorder a fixed address on the camera network. Add cameras through the recorder's search function, set recording schedules and retention, and create user accounts for remote viewing through Dahua's applications. Keep the recorder in a ventilated, lockable location.

Why buy refurbished
Enterprise hardware, tested in Doha, at a fraction of the price of new
Every unit we sell has already proven itself in a data centre. We test it again, grade it, and back it with a warranty before it leaves our stock.
Tested before it ships
POST, burn-in, memory and power-supply checks on every unit. Anything that fails is repaired or pulled from stock, not sold.
Same performance, lower cost
A Xeon runs the same workloads whether it is new or two years old. Spend the difference on more CPUs, memory or storage.
In stock, not on order
New enterprise hardware can take weeks or months to arrive. Ours is on the shelf in Doha and delivered across Qatar within a day.
Warranty and local support
Every unit is covered. Installation, configuration and hardware support are handled by our own team in Qatar, not a call centre abroad.
