The L1100E-S1 is Dell's 1100W hot-plug power supply for 13th and 14th generation PowerEdge servers, the rating above the 750W unit and the one Dell specifies when a server carries two high wattage processors, a full complement of drives or a graphics card. It shares the same bay and connector as the 750W supply, so a server can be moved to the higher rating by swapping both units. It is refurbished. Installation
With a healthy second supply fitted, replace a unit while the server runs: disconnect its cord, press the release tab, withdraw it, push the L1100E-S1 in until it latches and reconnect the cord; the LED turns green and iDRAC reports both supplies. When upgrading from 750W, replace both units, one at a time, so the pair matches. Shut down first on a single supply server. A C13 cord rated for the load is required and not included.
