Dell's Precision supplies are not standard ATX units despite the form: the connector layout is Dell's own and the unit slides into a bay at the top of the chassis, engaging a connector on the system board, so a retail ATX supply cannot replace it. Installation
Unplug the workstation and open the side panel. The supply sits in a bay at the rear top of the chassis: release its latch, slide the old unit out, slide the D950EF-00 in until the connector engages and the latch clicks, and close the panel. No cables need to be moved, since the supply connects through the chassis harness. Reconnect mains and check the diagnostic light on the supply shows normal.
