NVIDIA Quadro 2000 1GB GDDR5 graphics card Refurbished · Tested
About this graphics card

NVIDIA Quadro 2000 1GB GDDR5 workstation graphics card, a single slot Fermi GPU on PCIe 2.0 x16 with three outputs, refurbished.

The Quadro 2000 is NVIDIA's entry professional graphics card of the Fermi generation: 1GB of GDDR5 memory, a PCIe 2.0 x16 interface, two DisplayPort outputs and one DVI, in a single slot design, with certified OpenGL drivers and CUDA support. It was fitted to a generation of Dell Precision, HP Z and Lenovo workstations for CAD and 2D design, and it is refurbished here for the same duty. Buyers in Qatar use the Quadro 2000 to keep an older workstation running certified CAD software, to drive multiple displays from a server or thin client host, or as a low cost graphics card for a workstation that needs a professional driver rather than gaming performance. ServerDove keeps it in Doha stock.

CompatibilityWorkstations

The card draws its power from the PCIe slot alone, with no auxiliary connector, which lets it go into workstations and servers with small power supplies. Its 1GB of memory limits it to 2D work, modest 3D models and desktop display duty; large assemblies and rendering need a newer card. It works in PCIe 3.0 slots at PCIe 2.0 speed, which is more than the card needs.

Professional drivers are the reason a Quadro is chosen over a consumer card of similar age: CAD vendors certify their software against Quadro drivers, and features such as hardware accelerated line drawing and quad buffered stereo are enabled only on the professional parts. For a refurbished workstation kept in service for a specific certified application, the Quadro 2000 is often the exact card that certification names.

Installation

Power the workstation down and unplug it, remove the slot cover, seat the card firmly in a PCIe x16 slot and secure the bracket. No power cable is needed. Install NVIDIA's last driver release for the Fermi generation, which supports current Windows versions, and connect displays by DisplayPort or DVI; a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter drives an HDMI monitor. Three displays can run at once.

Why buy refurbished

Enterprise hardware, tested in Doha, at a fraction of the price of new

Every unit we sell has already proven itself in a data centre. We test it again, grade it, and back it with a warranty before it leaves our stock.

Talk to our team

Tested before it ships

POST, burn-in, memory and power-supply checks on every unit. Anything that fails is repaired or pulled from stock, not sold.

Same performance, lower cost

A Xeon runs the same workloads whether it is new or two years old. Spend the difference on more CPUs, memory or storage.

In stock, not on order

New enterprise hardware can take weeks or months to arrive. Ours is on the shelf in Doha and delivered across Qatar within a day.

Warranty and local support

Every unit is covered. Installation, configuration and hardware support are handled by our own team in Qatar, not a call centre abroad.
